Shop Superintendent /
Shop Manager
This position requires a person with heavy
personnel and technical skills. The person we need must
be able to keep 50 people in the shop happy and working
productively. They must be able to solve technical problems
in machining including fixtures, gages, cutters, measurement
and inspection, and CNC machines. Training of our employees
is very important. Scheduling and machine loading would
be a major duty. This person has to coordinate with Engineering,
Quality, Maintenance, Production Control, Human Resources
and all. Superman would do just fine.
Design Engineer
Journeyman Design Engineer to design world
class high-end bicycle components. Needs experience
in mechanical design. Stress analysis and FEA a plus.
Bicycle component design requires structural design
as well as gearing, bearings, shock absorbers, and other
mechanical designs. Complete testing protocols and
machines have to be designed to test each component. We
use Solidworks CAD packages.
Fixture and Gauge Designer
Be able to conceive and design stationary
and rotary holding fixtures for machining of complex parts.
We have Solidworks CAD packages. Also, conceive and
design functional gauges to check the parts we machine.
Manufacturing Engineer - Project
Manager
Be able to take complex machined parts and
assemblies from the engineering drawing to finished parts
that are ready to ship. Be able to manage the project
of one or a family of parts from start to finish. This
will include production planning, CNC Programming, CAD-CAM,
Fixture and Gauge Design, training machine operators on
the part and helping them to optimize the machining of parts,
and totally making the part happen. This job requires hands
on performing of all the tasks listed.
Manufacturing Engineering Manager
- (Metal Cutting)
Grow manufacturing engineering department
from five to twelve people and manage them all. We
manufacture precision-machined parts for Boeing and industrial
customers such as Trane and Reliance Electric. We
also design, test, and manufacture Thomson high-end bicycle
components. This person must know all phases of machining
manufacturing - production planning, CNC programming, machining
methods, fixture design, and gauge design. This person
must know machining of metal.
CNC Programmer
We need programmers for three and four axis
machining centers, and for two and four axis lathes; also
for simple parts and very complex parts. We use Solidworks
CAD and Surfcam for complex parts. CNC Programmers
need to know cutting tools, metal machining, fixtures, and
gauges.
Our parts run all the way from complex aerospace
parts to simple parts. Time will be allowed for CNC
Programmers to get familiar with Solidworks and Surfcam,
if they possess the experience in other CAD and CAM Software.
We have 31 CNC machines. Some of our
most complex work is required by our line of bicycle products.
HANDS ON CONTROLLER/CFO
Established (1981) and growing aerospace and bicycle component
manufacturer in Macon, Georgia seeking Controller/CFO with
manufacturing and cost accounting experience to help take
organization to the next level.
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Maintain and evaluate financial controls.
* Prepares financial statements.
* Maintain General Ledger and close month, quarter, and
year in MRP System.
* Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll.
* Creates cash flow statements monthly and manages cash
needs.
* Creates daily dashboard report for management team.
* Develop and maintain working relationship with financial
institutions to establish highest returns on funds and
best cash management practices.
* Responsible for credit approval and collections.
* Suggests ways to improve cost accounting and inventory
management.
* Evaluate utilization of MRP/Accounting software.
* Become integral part of company’s management team.
* Minimize taxes where possible
* Advise CEO on contracts.
* Evaluate and determine overhead rates for Job Cost Accounting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance
or related field. CPA a plus.
* 5 to 10 years of experience in a position with financial
responsibility.
* Experience in maintaining financial controls, preparing
financial statements and maintaining the general ledger.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Supervisory experience preferred.
* Experience in minimizing taxes where possible.
* Must demonstrate a professional and positive attitude
and a passion for continuous improvement.
* Stellar communications traits - must be able to communicate
with management, auditing agencies, and financial institutions.
* Strong time management skills.
* Ability to multi task and respond to requests in a professional
and timely manner.
