Q - Can I flip a Thomson Stem?
A - Yes, X2 is built to be flipped and may be run as a negative or positive 10 or 17 degree rise stem. X2's logo is reversible.

Q - Can I use X2 on a Mountain Bike?
A - We don't recommend X2 for Downhill or Freeride but X2 is more than strong enough for Cross Country Mountain Biking.

Q - Is X2 safe for carbon fiber?
A - X2 is engineered to work very well with both carbon handlebars and carbon steerer tubes. All torque requirements in our instructions must be followed for carbon components to be safe.

Q - Why did you change steerer clamps on X2? Were there problems with the old clamp?
A - We changed to save weight. There were no problems with the old clamp but it did add about 20 grams.

Q - What is the stack height of the X2 Stem?
A - 36mm, 6mm less than the Thomson Elite Stem.
